BABY GRACIE is on her way!

My cousin is at the hospital!! She went to the hospital around 8:30 when her water broke! We are eagerly awaiting the news of baby Gracie's arrival. Aunt Sue has strict instructions to call whenever. . . WHENever she makes her appearance!!
We are so excited in our house. Hopefully i'll have a picture to post by tomorrow at this time! The family has orders to send a picture!!!
Please pray for an easy delivery and a healthy baby Girl!

New Teachers!!!

We are so excited in the McCreary house because last night we found out who our teachers for the 2009-2010 school year will be! Griffin will be in third grade and his teacher is Mrs. Phillips. Molly will be in first grade in Mrs. Barr's class! They are both WONDERFUL teachers from what we hear! Mrs. Phillips even has her very own website. . . click HERE to see it! How cool must a teacher be that has her own website?
We are dreading the end of summer, but looking forward to a great school year! Both kids know several friends in their class so that will make the first day so much easier! Griffin's best buddy from last year - Coleman - is in his class. Molly has a couple of special little girls in her class, and several little boys that are sweet as pie!
We are looking forward to a great year!

We're Baaaaack!

We're finally home! Home sweet home! As much as we love the beach, it is good to be home. A GOOD shower that has water pressure, a comfy bed, and toys for kids to play with . . . all a good reason to be home.
I promise to post lots of pictures and exciting adventures from the last 10 days, but tons of work to do right now. Will save this for night time! It's naptime now and i have to work while kids are resting/sleeping!

Overheard!

Griffin and Jeff are delivering the dogs to doggie day camp and they have a conversation about the beach - skim boards, boogie boards, etc. Here's a little of the conversation:

G: "Hey Dad, do you think you can still do the skim board?"
J: "Maybe."
G: "Mmmm, I wonder if the old man still has his tricks?"

HA HA HA! Where does the boy get these things? Nothing quite like going bald AND having your kid call you "old man."
We love you, Jeffrey!! Good luck on the skim board. I know you can still do it. . . just watch out for the knee, the gout, and for goodness sake, please don't knock a kidney stone loose!

Happy Birthday, KHAKI!

Our dearest Khaki! We hope you had a wonderful day today and were just able to relax and kick back! We enjoyed our dinner together and just spending time together, as usual! You are the best Khaki ("grandma" to those of you not in our tight-knit group that aren't sure what a khaki is) anyone could ever wish for!

We love you and are so grateful you're OUR Khaki!
